Environment & Sustainability — 05

Stone is a finite gift.

Natural stone is one of the oldest materials on earth — and one of the longest-lived. We work to make sure that quiet advantage isn't spent carelessly, and that everything we source can be traced, defended, and specified with confidence.

01

Traceability

Every slab is tagged from the quarry face. We can name the block, the lot, the extraction date and the geologist who signed off.

02

Water

Our workshop runs on a closed-loop water system. Cutting and polishing water is filtered and returned to the line, not to the ground.

03

Waste

Off-cuts are collected, sorted and passed to partner studios for tiles, mosaic and aggregate. Slurry is dewatered and reused.

04

Partner quarries

We work only with quarries whose reclamation plans, worker conditions and community relationships we can verify in person.

05

Longevity

Natural stone, correctly specified and installed, is a hundred-year material. Longevity is the most powerful form of sustainability we can offer.
