Finishes — 03

How light meets stone.

A finish is not decoration. It is a decision about how the surface will read in the room — how it will hold light, how it will feel underhand, how it will age. We work in six primary finishes, and combine them freely.

01

Polished

A mirror surface. Depth of veining reads at its most vivid; light travels furthest into the stone.

02

Honed

A matte, silken finish. The colour softens, the touch becomes velvet. A quieter register.

03

Leathered

A subtle texture that catches shadow without losing depth. Warm to the hand, understated in a room.

04

Brushed

The soft parts of the stone are eased away by wire brushes. Grain and structure come forward.

05

Sandblasted

A fine even matte with a coarse tooth. Best for exterior cladding and floors that need grip.

06

Flamed

Heat opens the surface into a natural, weathered texture. Reserved for granites and hard stones.
